While it's true that Sia muse, Maddie Ziegler, is finally ready to walk away from Lifetime's Dance Moms for bigger and better opportunities, Abby Lee Miller claims that she is leaving don't ring quite so true. According to the latest gossip news updates, the reports that Miller is quitting the successful realty TV show to focus on the FBI's fraud case against her are utterly false, as she has actually asked the California courts permission to travel with the show to Las Vegas since making her announcement.
After spending more than a third of her life on Dance Moms, it seems that 13-year-old Maddie Ziegler is finally ready to move on to greener pastures.
According to a recent report by Entertainment Tonight, Maddie and her family are leaving the series, so she can go to work with "Chandelier" singer, Sia, who is directing her first full-length motion picture:
"The 13-year-old dancer and her mother, Melissa Gisoni, will not be returning to Dance Moms after season six...Her younger sister, 11-year-old Mackenzie, will also not be returning.
"Ziegler's mom announced the news to the rest of the cast on Wednesday during a taping of the hit Lifetime reality show."
Judging by the series' recent promos it looks like Abby Lee Miller would also like for people to believe that she is ready to walk away from the show as well, but Deadline reports that her claims to have quit are unbelievable given the fact that she is presumably still filming with Dance Moms in Sin City:
"A not out of character histrionic display that is all hype as Miller was granted permission to travel [to Las Vegas] for work by Judge McVerry on January 20.
"Being that Dance Moms is taped weeks in advance, the trip from Miller's current SoCal home base to Sin City means she clearly is on board - regardless of what Lifetime promos tease."
