It would appear that crowds just can't get enough of Marcus Goldhader's unique vocal residency at Symphony Space's Bar Thalia, Mostly Marcus. The run which pairs the two-time Best Male Vocalist Nominee with a different jazz guitarist and featured vocalist every night has been extended for an impressive third time with the last date tentatively scheduled for June 5.
Touring behind his fourth album, A Lovely Way to Spend an Evening, Marcus Goldhaber's residency at the Symphony Space's Bar Thalia entitled, Mostly Marcus, has been extended for an additional 5-dates in 2016 with Ron Jackson and vocalist Aimee Allen joining him onstage tomorrow night.
A press release touting the extension bragged that by the very nature of the event, every one of Goldhaber's Mostly Marcus shows is completely different than the next:
"Laying bare his voice while exposing the strength of his heralded songwriting, Goldhaber teams with a different top jazz guitarist and featured vocalist with each show for an evening of playful spontaneity.
"Marcus Goldhaber strips the Great American Songbook to the bone like never before."
