There has been a major update in DJ Pauly D’s recent baby mama drama. After multiple reports that Pauly would be engaged in a vicious custody battle for his daughter, it appears that the mother has had a change of heart. According to Twitter, Pauly will be allowed to see his daughter for the first time, unsupervised, this week.
Even before news broke that Pauly was a father, the reality star/dj filed for sole custody of his daughter. Up until now, Pauly has not been allowed even one unsupervised visit with his daughter. But from the looks of D’s Twitter, that may have changed. The celebrity recently tweeted, “Excited to see my baby girl next week!!!!!!!!!!”
Pauly also took time to address being a new father, telling Radar Online:
“Sometimes in life things aren’t planned and they may even scare you at first, but they end up being a blessing, that is how I feel about having a daughter. I’m looking forward to being a parent to her.”
According to a number of reports, Paully and Amanda Markert, his baby mama, do not see things eye-to-eye. One source recently told OK! Magazine:
“She has said it’s ‘her baby.’ He cannot meet her. What he can do is buy her a home, a car and write child support checks. Pauly think it’s disgusting...Pauly says he wants to be a father, not a bank.”
The same insider went on to reveal how the two first met and what lead to their night of passion:
“She is the best friend of Pauly D’s bodyguard’s girlfriend. Amanda loved Jersey Shore and wanted to meet him. They met up once and the baby was conceived.”
