Taylor Swift might have a new song on the One Chance soundtrack, but it was her time on the set of The Giver that the "Red" singer found "Sweeter than Fiction." Despite rumors that Swift was dating True Blood's Alexander Skarsgard, it turns out that she spent most her time wrapped around Jeff Bridges.
Rumors that Swift and co-star Alexander Skarsgard were dating have been officially shot down. Still, the songstress did dote over one of the film's stars. Taylor recently spoke with Access Hollywood about her working with Jeff Bridges:
“I couldn’t believe it was happening to me. I still can’t believe I shot in South Africa and shot all my scenes with Jeff Bridges. It was unreal."
Swift didn't let her lack of acting experience keep her from giving it her best, as she added:
“Seriously, I couldn’t believe I got to be a part of the experience. And I just tried to work as hard as I could and just throw myself into that environment as much as I possibly could and it was really long hours and it was a lot of preparation and getting into character and all that. But it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. Honestly. I learned so much. It’s crazy how educational just getting into a situation and doing it [is].You learn so much more, because I have taken acting classes and read as much as I possibly can on it and done theater before all this started, [but] you learn more by actually doing it than you could ever learn in preparation.”
Fans might even get a chance to hear all about her time on the set in her upcoming album, Swift added:
“What I go through is going to be the story that I tell. I think lyrically I always try to tell my fans exactly what’s happened to me in the last two years and that’s thing they can expect.”
