George Zimmerman Threatened Ex-Wife with Shot Gun Bullet Target After Trayvon Martin Murder Trial

New reports are surfacing that George Zimmerman threatened his soon-to-be ex-wife, Shellie, with a bullet/shot gun target. Shellie Zimmerman filed for divorce shortly after the Trayvon Martin murder trial.

Shellie Zimmerman stood by her man--even after he stood his ground--and killed an unarmed teenager. It wasn’t until after he was acquitted of murder that she started to doubt his innocence. Back in September, Shellie spoke with NBC's Matt Lauer on the Today Show where she said:

"This person that I'm married to, that I'm divorcing--I've kind of realized now that I don't know him. And I really don't know what he's capable of."

She added that she was unsure if the Trayvon Martin slaying was indeed in self-defense:

"I'm conflicted on that. I believe the evidence, but this revelation in my life has really helped me to take the blinders off."

If that wasn't enough, what allegedly followed sho' nuff did happen. One unnamed source recently spoke with Radar Online about the surprise she found when got home:

"[Shellie] went over to the house and discovered the target with bullet holes in various quadrants."

Shellie reportedly contacted her lawyer immediately, saying:

"Look at the subliminal message George sent me."

A second source elaborated on the issue, saying:

"It’s really not that subliminal. A not-so-subtle message, I think. It was clearly a threat.”

Following Shellie's interview, Zimmerman also {allegedly} vandalized his in-laws' Lake Mary home. Zach Hudson, a spokesman for the police department, told reporters:

"We have a complaint that there are some items missing from 300 Sprucewood. There was some damage to the house. Who committed that damage, I don't know. Was it there before hand, I don't know. We're trying to figure out exactly what we have here."

What do you think of the latest accusations? Do you believe that George Zimmerman really threatened his wife, Shellie?
