Rumors that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are getting a divorce have been circulating for over a year. Now tabloids are claiming that the actress is pregnant with the couple's fourth child. In a recent interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Garner addressed the rumors.
During Jennifer Garner's most recent appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, the host played a clip from the actress' appearance last year. During the September 2012 episode, Garner referred to her husband as "a wonder sperm kind of guy."
DeGeneres played the clip to seemingly fish for information. Garner denied pregnancy rumors, saying:
"Spermy has been, so far, held at bay."
Garner further explained, saying:
"There are 57 kinds of contraceptives used pretty much."
DeGeneres jokingly asked if that was per day,
Garner elaborated:
"Yep, and three of them are under the age of eight. I think we have provided the world with enough."
Rumors that the couple were getting a divorce skyrocketed after Affleck's infamous Argo Oscar speech where the actor said:
“I want to thank you for working on marriage for ten Christmases. It’s good, it is work, but it’s the best kind of work, and there’s no one I’d rather work with.”
Garner recently spoke with The Telegraph about the issue, saying:
"I knew he meant it as the hugest, warmest compliment in the world."
However, Garner wasn't so understanding last Halloween. After Affleck bailed out of the family costume, the mother of three told Ellen about the issues, saying:
"So we were Wizard of Oz. I was Glenda, and we had Dorothy, Scarecrow, and…the Lion...So we go to another neighborhood to trick or treat and I am wearing a full-on ball gown. It was itchy. It was uncomfortable. There is not another grown-up in sight dressed up except for Ben Affleck and me. And he is in full-on Tin Man....He took his Tin Man off and walked around and left me, his wingman, his life partner hanging as Glenda. I'm just in agony."
