The Internet might be up in arms over Ben Affleck's casting as the Dark Knight in the upcoming Batman vs Superman film, but it was his portrayal of another beloved classic that got him in trouble at home. Jennifer Garner went on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Thursday, where she busted Batffleck's chops. The actress wasn't too happy with her husband's lack luster performance as the Tin Man for the family's Wizard of Oz group Halloween costume last year.
Jennifer Garner might have faith that her husband will make a good Batman, but the actress isn't so sure about Affleck's Tin Man. Garner went on the Halloween episode of Ellen, where she made fun of the Oscar winner.
The couple, who both play dress up for a living, decided to skip out on the tradition last year. Garner told Ellen about the conversation she had with her hubby, saying:
"Last year, I said 'Let's skip dressing up. You and I, we're grown-ups, we don't have to do it."
It turns out they did have to do it. It wasn't too long before the parents were out voted by the kids, she added:
"They can talk him into anything...so we were Wizard of Oz. I was Glenda, and we had Dorothy, Scarecrow, and…the Lion...So we go to another neighborhood to trick or treat and I am wearing a full-on ball gown. It was itchy. It was uncomfortable. There is not another grown-up in sight dressed up except for Ben Affleck and me. And he is in full-on Tin Man."
However, Affleck didn't last long over the rainbow, Garner continued:
"He took his Tin Man off and walked around and left me, his wingman, his life partner hanging as Glenda. I'm just in agony."
So as payback the actress showed the talk show host, and the world, a picture of Affleck as the Tin Man.
