Kit Harington has officially confirmed that Jon Snow is dead. The Game of Thrones star is opening up about Season 6 of the hit HBO series, admitting that he did infact at the end of Season 5. However, Harington didn’t say anything about if Jon Snow will stay dead. Meanwhile, Harington’s own soul is on the line in his new project. Harington will soon be returning to the London’s West End as Doctor Faustus in the all new production of the classic play.

Recently Kit Harington spoke to BBC Breakfast host Bill Turnbull where he confirmed that Jon Snow did die at the end of Season 5 (via Entertainment Weekly):
“I think anyone who wants to know what happens in season 6 has to wait until it comes out. All I can tell you is Jon Snow is dead. He died at the end of last season.”
Harington’s next comment was a little bit more telling:
“It’s going to be an exciting season. So I’m led to believe.”
However, live or die, Harington has already found his next gig. Kit Harington recently announced that he was returning to the London stage as the titular character in Doctor Faustus (via Playbill):
"I have been away from the theatre for six years, so the combination of Colin Teevan's inventive version of Marlowe’s extraordinary play in the hands of the visionary director Jamie Lloyd all felt like the perfect reason to come back. Faustus' journey is exhilarating and the idea of playing a magician –- a showman –- is hugely exciting."
It should be noted that according to all promotional materials for Doctor Faust that are currently available, it appears that Harington will keeping Game of Thrones hair.
