A new trailer for The Walking Dead: Season Two (video game) was finally released. The follow up to the highly acclaimed Season One will feature the return of Clementine as the main character. The spin-off may even feature another cameo from beloved comic and TV character Glenn.
Telltale games recently released a trailer for the upcoming sequel to their hugely successful game, The Walking Dead: Season One. The series is released in individual chapters, known as episodes, via digital download. The first episode of the new season is expected out before the year's end. The trailer reveals that the child character, Clementine, will be the focus of the new game. It also hints that fan favorite Glenn might reappear in the sequel.
The new game picks up directly where the first game left off. The first season's DLC pack, titled 400 Days, was made to bridge the two seasons together. Descions made in the game can directly effect events in Season 2, however, you are not required to have played the Season 1 to enjoy Season 2. The game's official website addresses this directly in their FAQ section:
"Although 400 Days is not a direct part of the story thread joining Seasons One and Two, your actions in 400 Days will affect some elements of Season Two. If you haven’t played 400 Days, the elements that would have been affected will be seamlessly pre-determined by the game."
However, the developers do urge players to play both games, saying:
"Season Two picks up where Season One ended, so the most rewarding experience will be had by playing Season One first. Remember that the decisions you made in Season One will affect your story in Season Two. Keep your save files!"
The Walking Dead: Season Two will be made available for the X Box 360, PS3 and the PC.
