Suns Injury Report: Jon Leuer (back) is unlikely to play tonight. Markieff Morris (shoulder) has been upgraded to probable. Brandon Knight (groin) is out for the whole road trip.
76ers Injury Report: Isaiah Canaan (wrist) is questionable against the Hornets. Nik Stauskas (shoulder) is listed as out, but saw play against the Celtics.
The Phoenix Suns have seen some surprising success in their latest lineup, pairing up centers, Tyson Chandler and Alex Len. According to AZCentral, "Opponents have shot 38 percent when facing downtown Phoenix's latest high-rise development. It is a stark difference from allowing 51 percent shooting over the previous 15 games." The Suns have also significantly improved their rebounding, grabbing significantly higher percentages in the games where the two centers have played.
The Philadelphia 76ers have struggled all season long, due in no little part to choices made by their general manager. As philly.com phrased it, "The Sixers coach liked his rookie of the year point guard. The general manager traded him. The coach liked his point guard at the end of last season. The general manager neglected to re-sign him." The 76ers may be favored to win tonight's game, but considering the Suns are also one the worst teams in the NBA right now, tonight's game could go either way.
