One might think that after all Gavin Rossdale has reportedly put Gwen Stefani through he might cut her some slack, bout that doesn't seem to be the case. According to the latest gossip news updates, the Hollaback Girl's soon-to-be ex-husband has rehired the nanny that he supposedly cheated with just before their divorce, Mindy Mann, to take care of Stefani's sons. It's hasn't been all bad news for Blake Shelton's new girlfriend here lately though. From the looks of Stefani's Instagram, the new pony she got as a present has her standing firmly on Cloud 9 for the time being, despite her ex-husband's shadiness.
It seems almost unthinkable given their recent history together, but Gavin Rossdale is said to have decided that enough time has passed to finally bring former nanny, Mindy Mann, back on board to help with the kids.
One source in the latest February 1, issue of OK! Magazine claims that Gwen is doing her best to put the kibosh on Gavin's having Mann around their kids, but now that he is single, Rossdale is proving more difficult than ever:
"Gwen is horrified and fighting him on this, but Gavin insists that the children love Mindy and they shouldn't have to suffer because of what happened.
"It's as if Gavin feels he can do whatever he wants...even if he knows it will really hurt her."
Despite his best efforts to reportedly rain on her parade, Stefani seemed anything but upset yesterday when she broke the news on Instagram that she had just been gifted a real life horse for a present (via People):

While Stefani didn't share the name of whomever gifted her the pet horse, it's probably safe to assume that her cowboy boyfriend was tired of seeing the No Doubt beauty with the divorce blues.
