This February is shaping up to be a good month for the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. Famed pianist and BSO regular Andre Watts is returning. Broadway starlet Sutton Foster will be performing with the Superpops around the middle of the month.
The BSO is offering all the details on Watts’ upcoming appearance, telling us (via Press Release):
“A lion of the piano and regular BSO guest soloist since his days as a student at the Peabody Institute, André Watts delights in Mozart’s first mature concerto, a masterpiece of wit and poignancy. Mario Venzago contrasts the elegance of late 18th-century French opera with Schumann’s sunlit Symphony No. 4, written shortly after his marriage to Clara.”

Friday, FEB 5, 2016 8:00 PM. Meyerhoff.
