Lindsay Lohan's little sister, Ali, is growing up and looking to make a name for herself. The younger Lohan is planning on releasing a new record, and her mother Dina is reportedly going to manage her career. After the bang up job she did with Lilo, what could possibly go wrong?
Little Ali Lohan is no stranger to fame. The youngest of the Lohan girls has been modeling for pretty much her whole life, and she also starred in the family reality show, Living Lohan. She even put out a couple of underwhelming Christmas albums. Now Ali is working on her first non-holiday album.
Radar Online is reporting that Dina Lohan is going to manage her youngest daughter's career. The publication spoke with an anonymous source about Ali's latest musical project, saying:
“She enjoys modeling, but she’s ready for a change. She’s a performer at heart...Ali wants to be taken seriously and is ready to put everything she has into this record. Ali wants her new sound to be Miley Cyrus meets Lana Del Rey.”
The 19-year-old previously told Womans Wear Daily that she wants to step out of his big sisters shadow and into the spotlight, saying:
“I would just like to be known as my own person. I don’t need to ride on any coattails. I just want to make my mark myself. I definitely have to prove myself, just showing up on time and doing everything that you’re supposed to do.”
She later added that, unlike her infamous sister, she wants to focus her time on helping others:
"I want to make the most out of the word ‘fame.’ I want to do good things with my fame, or whatever it is. I want to help and do charity work. There’s something going on in Chile right now with the water, so I think I’m going to down there in a month to help out. My grandfather worked with charities his whole entire life, and we grew up living with him. He always told me about the other side of the world and everything that’s going on."'
