A little over a year after the release of the holiday studio album, On This Winter's Night, Lady Antebellum has released a Blu Ray/DVD of a live performance of the album. The new Christmas concert film titled Live: On This Winter's Night features 11 seasonal songs, including the title track, written by the trio.
The new live concert film, features 11 tracks from the original album. The only track that appears to be missing is Mariah Carey's classic, "All I Want For Christmas Is You."
The concert was filmed at Nashville’s Schermerhorn Symphony Center and features over 40 symphony orchestra members. The film also features a special performance by a Nashville children's choir. Hillary Scott recently spoke with reporters about the inclusion of a kids choir from Nashville music schools, in the concert:
“Anytime there’s a children's choir mixed with Christmas songs, that’s like getting wrapped up in a warm blanket ready for the holidays. So, it was awesome.”

On This Winter's Night, isn't the only record that band is giving new life. There latest release, Golden, is getting a brand new deluxe version due out on November 12. However, the reissue has caused a delay to the band's new tour. The trio's website explains the delay:
"We're really excited about the Deluxe version of GOLDEN coming out in November and all the events and performances we'll be doing around its release, but we're most excited about getting to play this new music live for you! To accommodate the new release and in order to give you guys the best show possible, we've had to move things around on our tour schedule. The 1st leg of the TAKE ME DOWNTOWN TOUR with Kip and Kacey will now kick off on Jan. 10th in Peoria, IL. We hope these changes aren't too much trouble for you, and that we'll get to see you in one of the more than 60 cities the tour will hit next year."
