Blake Shelton is not getting a divorce in 2013. At least that’s how The Voice coach made it seem, when he took to Twitter to mock rumors that say he and Miranda Lambert are having a baby and/or are cheating on one another.
Blake and Miranda are widely respected and not just in the country music community. But that doesn’t stop the tabloids from bashing the openly liberal singer and his beautiful wife.
Over the past few weeks, numerous stories have surfaced about the duo. Some claim that Miranda and Blake are cheating on one another, while others state that the couple is expecting a child. Shelton laughed at the speculation, when he mocked the stories on Twitter, tweeting:
“I just read back to back NEW stories that @mirandalambert and I are having a baby, divorcing, cheating and feuding with @cher. Must be true!”
He also took a jab at the fact that we have a serious health care problem in America, writing:
“If it costs 40 million dollars to get a divorce then how will we ever afford it?!!! We had that money set aside for health care!!!”
One of the most recent rumors comes from Star, as the tabloid claims that Blake caught Miranda engaged in a romantic relationship with fellow country singer and friend, Jamey Johnson. The tabloid quotes a source, who claims to have insider knowledge:
“Blake feels like an idiot. He’s furious at Miranda for not being honest about the affair. And he never thought Jamey would stab him in the back like that.”
The source goes on to claim that it was Jamey’s entourage who initially discovered the affair. According to the insider, the crew went to Jamey’s tour bus and encountered the shock of a lifetime:
“They thought he was just there taking a break. But when they walked to the back of the bus and opened the door to the lounge, they found Miranda on top of Jamey, having sex with him!”
