David Arquette Calls Howard Stern Wasted: Drunk Actor No Longer Sober, Talks Courteney Cox and God

David Arquette called in to The Howard Stern Show today, where he was admittedly wasted. The drunk actor talked about Courteney Cox and God, in between ranting about video games. Now that David is no longer sober, fans can likely look forward to more of these calls.

Arquette’s appearance was an unscheduled one, as he called in while the show was doing a segment on Robyn’s boat captain. David was honest about his state of inebriation, telling both listeners and Howard:

“Im wasted. I through a wrap party for this film I’m working on called The Key. This isn’t the first time I called you [drunk], I’ve called in a few times.”

David was also asked about his ex-wife, Courteney Cox. While the actor remained tight-lipped, he did slip and reveal that she is dating someone new since breaking up with her fellow Cougar Town co-star:

“It doesn’t matter. She’s with someone who loves and cares for her. That’s all I care about.”

Things took a somewhat dark turn, when David began explaining why he called in. Stern admitted that he was having difficulty understanding David, when Arquette revealed:

“It’s funny. You’re funny. You’re a God. We’re all gods in our own way. We’re all droplets of God…You guys were talking about Dave Herman earlier, right? I mean that’s pretty much as evil as you can get. Yes! So at this moment, let’s talk about this game that’s going on. Listen, when people do that, they just create more bad, evil people. Let’s stop that game, you listenin’ to me playa...We’re all players of this game. The whole game is to entertain God. God created us all. God is love. This is the best feeling...It’s all the same.”

Arquette also acknowledged that his phone call may have gotten him in trouble, as well as the theories he espoused:

“Listen I’m going to be brutally honest with you and if that means tomorrow I have to get sober, I will get sober. I’ve been going on this whole Mayan thing lately, where this is all just a game...but we’re all playing the wrong game. Are you with me...So, let’s play the right game.”
