With The Hunger Games 2: Catching Fire’s approaching release date, one member of the cast has some complaints. Even though Jennifer Lawrence loves her character in the movie, she does complain about the monotony of her hair.
Jennifer Lawrence isn’t really one to complain, however, she does have one gripe with the upcoming film, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. Of course, it is a relatively small one, as she reveals to Empire:
“I still love playing Katniss and am really looking forward to being her again. There’s honestly no part of it that I’m bored with...Actually, that’s not true. I am so bored with her braid. I keep asking, ‘Can’t I just wear my hair differently?’ But they keep saying no.”
And it makes sense that Jennifer doesn’t have a lot to complain about, especially considering her massive payday. According to various reports, Lawrence received over $10 million for reprising her role as Katniss Everdeen.
Then again, she’s helped the studio make a lot of money too. With a budget of $80 million, the film made nearly ten times the amount it invested. The box office came in at nearly $700 million.
Lawrence was also caught complaining back in July at the San Diego Comic Con. That time, it was some of the costumes from the upcoming film that caused her headache. When speaking to HitFix, she revealed:
"The wedding dress was so amazing at first. And then when I started wearing it and I couldn't walk and I couldn't pee..."
