Chris Brown is at it again. Brown was arrested once again over the weekend for felony assault. A judge later lowered the charge to a misdemeanor. The "Fine China" singer insists that he is "not dangerous." Brown is also facing more probation violation problems and is due at two separate courts in November, just days before his new album X drops.
Chris Brown was involved in an assault over the weekend outside of the W Hotel in Washington. 20-year-old Parker Isaac Adams claims that he tried to take a photo with Brown and two ladies, when Brown allegedly shouted "I ain't down with that gay s---t." Brown then allegedly threatened him, saying, "I feel like boxing."
Adams then claims that both Brown and his body gaurd assaulted him.
Brown and his body gaurd, Chris Hollosy, were both arrested following the incident.
Brown was held in in coustody around a day and a half, 36 hours, before appearing before a judge. The judge dropped the charges down from felony assault to a misdemeanor.
Brown's attorney, Danny Onorato, defends his client to the press outside of the court room, saying:
"Christopher Brown committed no crime. We understand that his security acted to protect Mr. Brown and Mr. Brown's property as he was authorized to do under District of Columbia law. We are confident that Mr. Brown will be exonerated of any wrongdoing."
Brown has been ordered to appear before his probation officer. In the past year, the Los Angeles County district attorney's office has charged Brown twice with probation violations. Brown has an already scheduled probation court hearing for November 20, in L.A. Both Brown and his body gaurd are due back in Washington court on November 24.
Just a few days later, Breezy's new album, X, will be dropping. The record, pushed back from its November release, is due on shelves on December 3.
