Broadway producer and agent Archer King, who is credited with discovering James Dean, died of natural causes at age 95.
His wife, Vivian, said Tuesday that King passed away at nursing home in New York on July 19.
Since his Broadway debut in the 1939 production "Summer Night," King produced a number of musicals, including "Miracle in the Mountains" and "Two Blind Mice" in the 1940s. He also worked as a production assistant for musical "Mr. Barry's Etchings" in 1950.
He is also credited with discovering many talented stars through his own agency "Archer King Ltd." that he launched in 1957. The famous talents he discovered include James Dean, Martin Sheen, Elizabeth Montgomery, Tommy Tune, and Ron Howard.
