'Sweeter Than Fiction' s' Taylor Swift and 'True Blood's' Alexander Skarsgard Dating Rumors, 'The Giver' Co-Stars On Date?

"Sweeter Than Fiction" singer Taylor Swift and True Blood star Alexander Skarsgard are filming the new movie, The Giver, and that can mean only one thing. The two will both be romantically linked in the rumor mill for sometime to come. The pair were already spotted close to each other at a cast dinner in South Africa, and now reports are surfacing that they went a few dates in L.A. before filming began, although a rep for the singer has since denied these claims.

Rumors of Taylor Swift and Alexander Skarsgard dating were bound to fly the minute the two were cast in The Giver together.

Perez Hilton recently quoted an unnamed insider who claims:

"Before they left for Cape Town they had a couple of dinners in LA. He's much older than the guys Taylor has dated in the past year but maybe that's where she's going wrong."

However, the blogger has since updated his post, stating:

''A rep for Taylor has told us that this little love rumor is false. The two didn't meet before heading to South Africa. And even though they're both gorge blondies, they are not dating…which means, more Alexander for us!''

Gossip Cop is also reporting that the story is “completely fabricated.”

Swift has recently opened to InStyle about her needing to change her dating habits, saying:

"My friends tease me about the fact that if someone seems bad or shady or like they have a secret, I find them incredibly interesting...That’s just a phase I’ve been in lately. I don’t think this should be how I proceed in life. It’s important to be self-aware about these things because you don’t want to end up with that guy.”

She later added that she has no plans on dating anyone right now, claiming:

“I don’t even have a semblance of an idea of a boyfriend right now. I don’t even have a mental daydream of who he would be.”

She later added:

“I don’t know where I stand on family and kids right now because I can’t picture things without all the pieces of the puzzle. And who that person is determines what the rest of the puzzle looks like.”
