The Jonas Brothers shocked the world when they announced that their upcoming tour has been canceled. According to the latest rumors, Joe Jonas may be struggling from drug problems, which may have originated from fighting with Demi Lovato. Is the band going to break up or is there still hope for the former boy band.
According to a source who spoke to OK! Magazine, the 24-year-old is struggling with a drug addiction. The insider revealed that Kevin and Nick weren’t aware of how bad Joe’s problems were until it was too late:
“The brothers are really disappointed. They all didn’t fully understand how bad the problem was until right before the tour. They were arguing all the time, then one of them went through Joe’s stuff and realized it wasn’t something anyone could ignore.”
The alleged source went on to say that Joe has been out of control for three years now, ever since his relationship with ex Demi Lovato:
“He would get so f---ed up around her. It was like the two most unstable and moody artists get into a relationship! She’d get jealous. It was a bad situation; cue screaming fights and throwing s--t.”
The tour cancellation caught many by surprise. Not only are the brothers releasing a new album, V, Joe was also doing press for the tour just days before it was canceled.
Of course, some clues were given when Joe sat down with the Journal Sentinel. The young singer told the publication that things were challenging:
"There are days that are tough. You try to relive what what we used to be, but you have to remind yourself that it's a different music. It's a different vibe. We are our own bosses these days and have to build our own relationships and businesses and continue to craft our sound, and not just be a band that plays to a certain market."
