President Obama Claims A Donald Trump Presidency Would Be Like a 'Saturday Night Live' Skit

In a recent interview, President Obama claimed that a Donald Trump Presidency would be like a Saturday Night Live skit, and considering Trump has already turned up on the show, perhaps we've gotten a look at what that might be like.

The interview was with Today's Mike Lauer, where when he asked President Obama if he could see Donald Trump giving a State of the Union address, the president responded with "Well, I can imagine it in a Saturday Night Live skit. Um, look. Anything's possible, and I think we shouldn't be complacent."

The president elaborated further on his concerns regarding a Trump presidency: "I'm pretty confident that the overwhelming majority of Americans are looking for the kind of politics that does feed our hopes and not our fears, that does work together and doesn't try to divide is that isn't looking for simplistic solutions and scapegoating."

Donald Trump certainly has been divisive when it comes to pulling Americans to his side. Whether he declares that he will deport all illegal immigrants or ban all Muslims from entering the United States, his rhetoric has done nothing to further peaceful resolutions to the issues America is facing.

Vice President Joe Biden is a bit more concerned than Obama about the potential of a Trump presidency. "Yes, I think it's possible," Biden told the press. "We always do best when we act as one America. We always do poorly when we appeal to our fears and our differences."

Hopefully America will make wise choices in the upcoming presidential nominations, and if not, that at least the presidential election will result in a leader better suited to strengthen and protect America.
