Jennette McCurdy has been taking boyfriend advice from her Sam and Cat co-star, Ariana Grande. This, however, might not prove to be the best move, considering Ariana's messy break up with Jai Brooks. Now that McCurdy has also broken things off with her very own Internet boyfriend, Andre Drummond, should she still be taking Grande's advice?
McCurdy recently spoke with EntertainmentWise about her relationship with her co-star and best friend, saying:
“For us, if we're on set we'll rehearse and then we'll go and have lunch together, usually at some healthy place trying to be healthy and I'm sat crying while eating houmous. Then we go back to work and if we're exhausted then we just go straight home but if we're just hanging out for fun, I'll usually just go over to Ariana's house and we'll watch movies, pick outfits out for each other and plan what we're each going to wear and talk a lot about boys."
She later added that she gets most of her relationship advice from Grande, saying:
"She's the number one person I talk to about boys.”
Although, Ariana's advice might not always be the best. It is believed that Ariana's failed relationship with Jai Brooks was the inspiration for McCurdy's equally ill fated relationship with Andre Drummond. In September, McCurdy pinned an essay for the Wall Street Journal's Speakeasy blog that strongly hinted at such:
"A year ago, my friend and I were sitting around swapping boy stories when she told me about a new romance that was springing up in her life. She seemed enchanted by this boy--he had an accent, seemed cuddly like a teddy bear, had a great personality, knew all the right words to say to get to her, and from the way she put it, there seemed to be real chemistry. She was giddy and butterfly-ridden and walking on sunshine. I asked when I could meet the boy, and my friend replied, 'After I do...Turns out, this new 'love' in my friend’s life had been forged in cyberspace."
