Young love is never without its fair share of drama, especially if the lovers are two of the hottest up-and-coming superstars of the day. Ariana Grande and her new boyfriend, Nathan Sykes, are learning the price of fame.
First, the new couple had to face allegations that Ariana cheated on her ex-boyfriend, Jai Brooks, with her new beau. Now, rumors that Sykes is leaving his band The Wanted are surfacing. Allegedly, the singer is only planning on working with Ariana, or so the legend goes.
Sykes and Grande first worked together on the song "Almost is Never Enough" for the film Mortal Instrument: City of Bones.
Sykes told MTV News about working with Grande:
"I didn't know how my voice would sound 'cause I didn't know what my capabilities [were], and it was kind of scary that I've had so much more control than I've ever had due to the team that I've worked with being so great. Honestly, I couldn't ask to work with a more talented vocalist than Ariana. I have so much respect for what she's just about to do, and I think it's a very exciting time for both me and Ariana for slightly different reasons. She's about to go on this quite amazing journey."
Sykes recently spoke with Bliss, putting the rumors to bed, saying:
"I am so focused on The Wanted right now. It's all about The Wanted. Always has been, always will be."
