The New York Knicks certainly should be feeling good after beating the Hawks on their own turf, especially after a fairly unpleasant start to the season and a dismal failure last year. But they aren't resting on any laurels, as Carmelo Anthony said "This is a new beginning for us. A new start for us. I'll take this 17 wins. But as much as we'd like to celebrate those 17 wins, we have a chance to get 18 (Wednesday in Miami)."
The Miami Heat have been revitalized by a healthier Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh, both of whom took advantage of the long summer before training camp started to improve their bodies. According to Bosh, "You just gotta keep on going. That last summer, I told (Wade) he had to take advantage of it because we're not gonna have a summer like that again. It was time to rest, recuperate, get better and hit the ground running." And it seems to have worked, as they've both lead the team in points. The Heat will need to focus on these two players and capitalize on their improvement over the course of the season.
The Miami Heat are favored to win tonight's NBA game, but after the Knicks defeat of the Hawks, anything could be possible this game.
