ABC's Nashville is known for featuring new music from up-and-coming singers/songwriters. The show helped to boost the career of newly-crowned country queen Kacey Musgraves. The latest artist to watch is American/Canadian Jaida Dreyer. Earlier this year, she released her debut album titled, I Am Jaida Dreyer. Now the soon-to-be star's new song, "This Town," will be featured on tonight's (October 23) episode of Nashville.
The ABC Music Lounge recently tweeted links to the song:

Classicalite has obtained an official press release about tonight's episode, that reads in part:
"Streamsound recording artist Jaida Dreyer will have one of her songs, "My Town," featured on tonight’s episode of the hit television series, Nashville. "This Town" will be performed by Clare Bowen (Scarlett O’Conner) and Charles Esten (Deacon Claybourne). Dreyer co-wrote the ballad about the ups and downs of music city with Cory Mayo and Andrew Rollins. 'This Town' reveals the struggles and triumphs that performers and songwriters face once they arrive in Nashville."
The release goes on to give a little insight into the new artist, adding:
"Jaida Dreyer’s debut album, I Am Jaida Dreyer, is produced by Grammy award-winning producer Byron Gallimore (Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Sugarland), and is now available at iTunes and other major digital retailers. The album features a special guest appearance by Sugarland’s Kristian Bush on the track 'Boy Who Cried Love,' who co-wrote the song with her. A talented songwriter in her own right, Jaida was involved in writing or co-writing all of the songs on her debut release. Signed to Streamsound Records, Dreyer is focusing her time on writing and recording new music."
"This Town" is now available via iTunes. Nashville airs tonight on ABC at 10/9c
