There has been a major update in the divorce of Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones. The Wall Street actor says that everything is great, amid rumors that the star is guilty of cheating on his wife.
In recent weeks, it seems that the couple has been making amends. Catherine and Mike have both been spotted wearing their wedding wings, however, they see to be still living apart.
Michael recently expressed optimism about his marriage of 13 years. The world-famous actor, when asked about his marriage, responded:
“Things are great! Onward and upward.”
Michael has been talking a lot lately. Most recently, he opened up about having cancer, while speaking to UK’s This Morning. Celebrity Dirty Laundry offered a synopsis of his appearance, telling their viewers:
“It has been made pretty obvious that the HPV likely came from his now estranged wife, Catherine Zeta-Jones and she has not been at all happy with Michael’s need to disclose intimate details.
“Michael admitting that it was actually tongue cancer, something directly linked to HPV, only further indicates that rather than getting back together these two are moving further apart. Michael’s need to speak the truth to the general public is only sending Catherine further off the deep end, ensuring that a reconciliation is extremely unlikely.”
Another reason that the couple may stay split is that Michael has been accused of cheating. Numerous photos have emerged of Michael vacationing/canoodling with a mystery brunette.
Star recently revealed photos of Michael and a young woman vacationing together. A source told the publication:
“At first, everyone thought the woman was Catherine, especially with all the attention Michael was lavishing on her. But it wasn’t. Michael and Catherine are living totally separate lives and are powering full steam ahead with the divorce. She was gorgeous--tall, with long, dark hair pulled back in a braided ponytail and a million dollar smile. Michael seemed to be putting the moves on this woman hard-core. He must be champing at the bit to play the field again.”
