Rumors are flying over who Harry Styles is dating in 2013. The newest of which involve Harry getting a reporter pregnant. The allegations come after it was widely speculated that Harry’s new girlfriend is Paige Reifler. In this latest update, we’ll review the rumors that have left Taylor Swift silent.
Calm down, crazy One Direction fans, your boy toy isn’t going to be a new daddy...at least that we know about. The rumors started flying when the boys of 1D were doing press in New Zealand.
The band sat down with reporter Jaquie Brown, after first hugging the journalist. When Harry finished embracing her, Styles jokingly informed Brown that she was now pregnant.
This bit was a recurring joke throughout their interview and has since led to a slew of internet rumors which claim Harry impregnated the reporter. Again, those was totally false.
One rumor that seems a bit more plausible, however, is that Harry is dating the gorgeous Paige Reifler. This is especially true considering that photos of the couple snuggling were posted on Twitter.
As you might expect, crazed One Direction fans began bashing the young woman. This is particularly unfortunate considering that Paige wasn’t the one who posted the pics of her straddling Harry.
One of her friends (ex-friend, now) uploaded the sexy images to get revenge on the young celebrity. This was evident by Reifler’s Twitter pleas, as she begged:
“Take this down now!! Seriously not cool at all… This is no way to get back at me… Walter c’mon now! Revenge is childish. I hope you’re happy.”
Of course, she’s not the only one to face 1D backlash. That distinction also belongs to Taylor Swift. In an interview with Glamour magazine, the singer addressed tween backlash:
"I never read one hateful thing said about me by some 12-year-old. So I got to live an actual life. And I’ve kept that mentality. Just because there’s a hurricane going on around you doesn’t mean you have to open the window and look at it. You can be obsessed with the bad things people say and the good things, either way you’re obsessed with yourself and I’m not--you can become unhinged so easily. Vanity can apply to both insecurity and egotism. So I distance myself, because I feel everything. The little I am exposed to hurts my feelings. The only things I can really control are my songs and my behavior. The rest? If I focused on it, that would lead to insanity."
