Austin Mahone is badly ill. The 17-Year-old YouTube sensation, is currently being treated for a blood clot, and bad case of the flu that includes a 104. degree fever. The up and commer, who recently toured with Taylor Swift, is having to postpone his new tour.
A rep for the young artists, first announced the news in a statement to press, saying:
“Austin Mahone was admitted to the hospital with 104 temperature and is being treated for a blood clot and extreme inflammation in his throat as well as severe dehydration.”
Mahone, himself, tweeted the news to fans:
"Hey Mahomies [fans] I’m so so so sorry but I have to reschedule the shows tomorrow in Miami and in Orlando. I can’t believe this is happening its my first tour I’m so upset. I feel like I’m letting you all down."
He also added:
"Its Doctor’s orders I have a bad flu 103 fever and I can’t move. If I could go I would."
Mahone's team also tweeted news that he was unfortunately going to have to postpone his entire tour, writing:
"Hey Mahomies its @MicheleMahone Austin is very ill. Unfortunately we are going to have to postpone the entire MTV Artist to Watch Tour,"adding, "We feel very bad but we have no choice but to POSTPONE the tour for now. Thank you for your prayers #PrayforAustin."
However, the young man has proven to be a class act, as opposed to other pop stars like Justin Bieber. Mahone seems very upset over disappointing his fan base, tweeting:
"Austin is very upset about this & we want to say we are sorry to all the Mahomies & their parents who have made arrangements to come out."
