Lauren Conrad recently announced that she was engaged to boyfriend and former Something Corporate member William Tell. The actress alerted the world to her big news on her blog, where she also posted a photo of her new engagement ring. Check out the pic for yourself and a description of the pricey bling.
On October 11, Lauren made the news official on her blog. The 27-year-old told the world:
"I am very excited to share with you guys that William and I got engaged over the weekend. I am beyond thrilled! Get ready for lots more wedding content here on LaurenConrad.com as we begin the planning process."
She also took to Instagram, revealing the ring along with the text, “Best surprise ever.”
From the estimated price of the ring, she might be right. Our friends over at Hollywood Life spoke to expert jeweler Shari Fabrikant, who revealed:
“Lauren’s ring appears to be a 3 carat round diamond set in a very simple, 4-prong mounting. It’s a very nice stone! If it were a G color VS2 in quality, it would cost approximately $50,000. The ring is simple but classic — it’s timeless and elegant!”
Her fiance is used to making headlines, himself. This is especially true when he announced that he would be leaving his successful rock band, Something Corporate.
The former rockstar became something even more corporate, enrolling himself in law school. Hopefully the future attorney can help plan a wedding and study for class at the same time.
