The latest clip from the Thor: The Dark World 's clip fest gives us an extended look at Thor and Jane's long awaited reunion. The scene, featured in many trailers, has Thor answering to an angry Jane Foster. Foster has been devastated since Thor's absence at the end of the first film and is upset with the hero not returning to her during the events of the Avengers. Foster isn't afraid to give the future King of Asgard a slap or two. This isn't Jane's only attack on an Asgardian in the film. She also gives Thor's brother Loki the business as payback for his attack on New York.
Where Foster has been anxiously awaited Thor's return, actress Natalie Portman was allegedly not so eager to return for the new film. The Harvard educated actress, however, denied these rumors when she spoke with Marie Claire, saying:
“No. Chris [ Hemsworth] is, like, one of the greatest people in Hollywood. He’s the kind of actor who’s so charismatic, he must be tired when he goes home.”
She further doted over her hunky co-star in an interview with Details Magazine, saying:
"He's like a person you actually want to hang out with...a full human,There's no scoop, except he's rad. The scoop is he's just great at everything. When we were doing the first Thor, we would joke that we should remake The Way We Were. Little Jewish girl, a smoking-hot Gentile. If we work together again, that's clearly our project."
She latter added:
"He's confident in a very quiet way. Not a look-at-me kind of way. He's like the silent guy at the table. He can sit there and listen and be generous and not have to be tap-dancing all the time-which is really unusual for an actor."
Thor: The Dark World opens on November 8.
