Batman is not an easy role to tackle. Not only does the iconic character have to met a high bar set by the fans after the great Cloney debacle of 1997, but the actor also has to be able to handle Batman’s alter ego, Bruce Wayne. Any good Batman fan can tell you that Bruce Wayne is the real mask and that The Batman is his true self. Recently we got our first good look as Ben Affleck as Batman/Bruce Wayne in the all trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Now Affleck is opening up about his version of Wayne.
Recently, Ben Affleck spoke with IGN where he opened up about his version of Bruce Wayne and how he stacks up against others:
"He lives that life at full tilt. He courts many women, owns many cars, and parties a lot. He does that as a way to fill the void in his soul. Moreover, past incarnations dealt with a straightforward search for justice. This time, Batman’s reasoning is clouded by frustration, bitterness and anger."
