Selena Gomez was recently spotted crying on stage. Initial reports indicated that the “Come and Get It” singer was upset over her break up with Justin Bieber. But Gomez quickly dispelled those rumors, blaming her melt down on not being allowed to use Instagram. Many still feel, however, that it has something to do with the “Boyfriend” singing bad boy.
Justin Bieber is probably used to making girls cry, especially his mother, but it was Selena Gomez he made tear up this time, according to TMZ:
“Selena started sobbing and weeping near the end of her ballad, ‘Love Will Remember’-- which is widely believed to be about the Biebs ... partially because the original leaked version of the song featured a voicemail Justin left for Selena.”
While the voice does sound remarkably like the Biebs, his representatives stated that the story was false. For those of you that missed it, the male’s voice said:
“Hey, babe it’s me. I just wanted to call to tell you that I love you so, so, so, so much. Just wanted to let you know that you are my princess.”
We wouldn’t want to take credit for that either. Of course, Selena doesn’t want Justin taking credit for her latest cry fest. Following the tearful performance, she refuted allegations that she was sobbing over Bieber:
"Never ended such a beautiful show in tears because they wouldn't allow me to Instagram tonight. Completely heartbroken and pissed. Thank you SO much Brooklyn. Ill be stopping outside Letterman tomorrow to make it up if you can make it. I love you guys more than you know. Promise."
