After Move, Princess Kate Plans Upcoming Prince George Christening, Royal Baby Baptism Date Approaching [UPDATE]

Princess Kate, who recently moved onto the grounds of Kensington Palace, is busy planning the upcoming christening of Prince George. With a baptism date quickly approaching, Kate Middleton and Prince William also find themselves in the process of relocating.

October 23 will be here before you know it, and that means only one thing. Prince George Alexander Louis will be christened at the Chapel Royal at St. James palance.

The baptism will be notably more private than his summer birth; however, the royals aren’t going to leave the peasants wanting. Kate has promised to release what are sure to be totally adorable baby pics following the ceremony. As OK! reports, this is actually quite remarkable:

“One of those pictures will feature George, William, Charles and Queen Elizabeth, a historic gathering of four present and future monarchs. The last time that happened was in 1894, during the reign of Queen Victoria.”

That isn’t the only connection to Queen Victoria, either. George will actually be wearing a replica of the christening gown Victoria used at her own daughter’s ceremony.

Kate isn’t just busy planning the christening. The Duchess also moved recently, returning to Apartment 1A.

According to International Business Times, this won’t be the first royals to live in the apartment. They tell their readers that:

“Apartment 1a, where William, Kate and George begin their family life had remained the official residence of Princess Margaret, the Queen’s sister, for 42 years. She moved into the apartment after marrying photographer Anthony Armstrong-Jones, later Lord Snowdon, in May 1960, and lived there until her death in 2002.”
