Tom Cruise and his ex-wife, Katie Holmes, can't seem to stay out of the headlines. This time rumors are flying that Katie is dating Jamie Foxx. While neither actor has confirmed reports of the new boyfriend, one thing is for certain--Leah Remini will be testifying against Tom's religion, the Church of Scientology.
According to the popular US tabloid, In Touch, Katie and Jamie have been seeing each other for quite some time. An alleged insider told the publication:
"Katie and Jamie have been dating for a while. They’re very Mission: Impossible about their romance.A hotel employee confirmed that Katie had stayed at the hotel with Jamie and that she was taking his car. So the driver drove her home to her Chelsea apartment.”
As of the publishing of this article, neither actor's camp has responded to the romantic claims.
Tom cruise, unarguably the world's most famous Scientologist, recently made news for hiss alleged dating, as well. A Vanity Fair article reported that the Church of Scientology dedicated significant resources to help find Tom a new girl.
Of course, that's not the only time Scientology has been in the news recently. Former celebrity Scientologist Leah Remini will be testifying against the religion in court.
The Dancing With the Stars competitor will be assisting Monique and Marty Rathbun with their lawsuit against David Miscavige, head of the CoS.
According to official documents, Monique claims that David did some pretty messed up stuff to her and husband Marty:
“She has been subjected to numerous, aggressive attempts to intimidate her… She has been targeted at home, at work, and anywhere else that she happens to be. She has been harassed, insulted, surveilled, photographed, videotaped, defamed, and humiliated to such a degree as to shock the conscience of any decent, law-abiding person.”
Ray Jeffrey, attorney for the Rathbuns, confirmed that Leah will be appearing in court to Radar Online, but refused to comment on whether or not she will mention interactions with other celeb scientologists:
“Miscavige’s attorney has claimed in court that Mr. Miscavige is uninterested in our client. I believe Ms. Remini will have testimony that in fact Mr. Miscavige is very concerned about Mr. and Mrs. Rathbun. I don’t want to speak for her, as to what exactly she’ll say. Who knows what may come up.”
