Ariana Grande New Album: 'Sam & Cat' Star Announces New Song, Calls Cheating Allegations 'Ridiculous'

Ariana Grande is on top of the world right now. The 20-year-old singer/actress currently has a highly popular TV show, Sam and Cat, and a hit new album, Yours Truly. Recently, her ex-boyfriend, Jai Brooks, accused her of being unfaithful, but the starlet isn't going to let a little cheating rumors stall her career. She is currently working on new music, including her new song "Ridiculous."

Ariana's first album, Yours Truly, recently debuted at number one on the Billboard charts. Now the singer/actress is busy working on her follow up record. She recently spoke with MTV UK about the upcoming album:

"I start recording the second album in a couple days when I get back to Los Angeles and I’m really excited about it. I don’t know too much yet, we just started working on it. I just have one song that I’m very excited about so far that’s kind of done. I’m really excited about it because so much has happened in the last few months… It’s been crazy and I feel like I’ve learnt a lot and grown a lot as a person so I have a lot to write about."

She latter spilt the beans about her beloved new track:

"It's called Ridiculous, I’ve never said that before. It’s a great song – I love it. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to keep it or not because there’s a little string sample in it, but I want to take all the music out and do something different anyway. So I’m going to change that."

Recently, Grande's ex-boyfriend, Jai Brooks, accused her of cheating on him with her now boyfriend The Wanted's Nathan Sykes. The starlet opened up to EntertainmentWise about the accusations:

"It can be hurtful when you read into it and you allow it to hurt you but at the end of the day you have to stand for yourself and you have to know your truth and you have to know that you are doing the right things and you're just living your life and you're going to talk because these people don't know you. I feel that if I had the chance to have a conversation with each and every one of my haters, they would leave being like 'Oh, she's actually pretty chilled.' But I don't have the opportunity and sometimes you've just got to turn it off and delete the Twitter app for a couple of days.”
