Taylor Swift has managed to sink her fangs into a lot of famous men, is 'True Blood's' Alexander Skarsgard next on her list? The "Red" singer and the Viking Vampire have both been cast together in the upcoming film adaptation of the 1993 Lois Lowry novel, The Giver.
Taylor Swift and Alexander Skarsgard are bound to be two names linked together in the rumor mill for a while to come. Not only are the two of the hottest celebrities out today but the pair, forever linked by the new film The Giver, fit each others dating M.O's to a tee. Swift has a long history of dating muscle bound, bad boy celebs. However, Swift did recently tell InStyle Magazine that she planned to quit her bad boy habit:
"My friends tease me about the fact that if someone seems bad or shady or like they have a secret, I find them incredibly interesting...That’s just a phase I’ve been in lately. I don’t think this should be how I proceed in life. It’s important to be self-aware about these things because you don’t want to end up with that guy.”
Despite her best efforts, Skarsgard might offer the pop-country star a little bit of temptation. The 37-year-old has his own reputation for dating younger women.
Long days spent on movie sets have a way bringing couples together. It's seems that the pair might be fated to be together, seeing as Swift never actually auditioned for the movie. She recently told ABC News Radio about how the film (and possibly Skarsgard) fell into her lap.
“Actually, the movie came about very unexpectedly. When I played my shows in L.A., I was unaware that people from this movie were in the audience, and I had a role offered to me the next week. I think my show tends to be very emotional and moody and they saw something that they needed in the role. So, I’m very honored and lucky to get to be a part of it, and we’ll see how it goes. Please wish me luck.”
