This is only his second season with the show, but it seems that most of the cast of Vanderpump Rules pretty much hates SUR bar-back turned DJ, James Kennedy. According to the latest gossip news updates, the 23-year-old Brit has alienated everyone from Jax Taylor to Lisa Vanderpump herself in Season 4. His ex-girlfriend, Kristen Doubt, recently called James a belligerent ass, while last year's villain, Stassi Schroeder, has described his behavior as both "gross" and "despicable."
It would seem that virtually all of his Vanderpump Rules costars have come to the conclusion that they were all a lot better off before James Kennedy came into their lives.
The British DJ's ex, Kristen Doute, told Radar Online that, at times, dating James was very much like being with a violent child:
"[He's] a little immature, belligerent, maybe an a**? It's no big shocker that we break up.
"I got sick of taking care of him and cleaning up his messes," Doute explained. "His drinking and belligerence...maybe I got a taste of my own medicine from my previous behavior, but I'm definitely not proud of the way he's treated me."
Resident womanizer Jax Taylor might have a reputation for loving and leaving them, but even he is said to horrified by the way Kennedy treats the series' women.
After a fan complained on Twitter that Jax should "whoop" James for the way he treated Kristen, Taylor confirmed that he was seriously contemplating doing just that:
For her part, Stassi Schroeder recently explained on her podcast, Straight Up with Stassi, that she has long wanted to give her true opinion of James but was afraid what he might do to her if she did (via Fashion&Style):
"I've been warned that if I say anything on my podcast or in an interview negative about him that he will come at me a million times harder. I've been kind of scared to give my opinion.
"It's really weird, and I don't feel like anybody should be like this. It's so gross, and he's acting despicable on this show."
What do you think about James Kennedy?
Is everyone just angry that he is stealing the Vanderpump Rules spotlight?
Or, is keeping Kennedy on the show probably sending the wrong message to women at this point?
