Although they certainly seemed to take their time getting pregnant with their son, Isaiah, word has it that Carey Underwood and hockey husband Mike Fisher are desperate to have another child. According to the latest gossip news updates, the Storyteller singer is determined to conceive before going on her next world tour, despite the toll it would take on her body. No matter how many children she has, Carrie recently joked that she would never let her CMA Awards co-host, Brad Paisley, babysit, because he can't take it seriously.
Although their Baby Isaiah isn't even a year old yet, Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher are said to be deadset on having a second child just as soon as possible.
One source in the latest December 14, issue of Life & Style explains that as happy as becoming parents has made them, Carrie and Mike don't see why they shouldn't rush to have a another baby:
"She and Mike can't wait to add to their family and they'd like a second child close to Isaiah's age, not three or four years apart.
"She's like to become pregnant before the tour starts. Some of her pals have told her that's a crazy idea, but Carrie's up for a challenge, and she's got the resolve of an Olympic athlete."
Whether or not Carrie and Mike soon have a second child or not, Underwood definitely won't be having her CMA bestie Brad Paisley over to baby sit.
During a recent joint radio interview wherein Paisley joked that the thought of Carrie's baby sliding down the garage chute reminded him of Star Wars, Underwood explained that it was those kind of remarks that led her to believe that Brad wasn't fit to be left alone with the children (via Taste of Country):
"Probably not. Because he thinks it's okay that the baby goes down the trash chute."
