Rumors are flying that Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom will be getting a divorce in 2013. New reports are claiming that Khloe is afraid to break up with Lamar, over fear that he will commit suicide. These latest accusations come after months of speculation that the NBA player has been cheating on his wife and has become addicted to drugs. Odom’s depression actually became a part of the latest episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
Despite appearing together for the first time in months, we are told that the couple’s divorce is inevitable. In fact, it appears the only thing slowing down the separation is Khloe’s concern for her husband.
On a recent episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, the reality star told E! cameras that her husband is a “very depressed person.” This description is pretty much in line with everything the tabloids have been printing. According to a source who spoke to OK! Magazine:
“Throughout this whole crisis, Lamar’s cut out virtually everyone, but he’s always maintained contact with Khloe, so the fact that he’s now not returning her calls or texts is freaking her out...Lamar suffers from the blues. He’s said things like, ‘It’s all just too much,’ and ‘I’m too tired to deal with this anymore,’ and even worse, “I can’t take much more of this.’ Khloe is terrified of losing her best friend and husband.”
This isn’t the first time that Lamar has struggle with drugs. According to multiple news outlets, Odom entered rehab last summer. Unfortunately, the NBA player only lasted three days before leaving the institute.
Khloe was instrumental in convincing him to seek help, however, he didn’t stay at the facility long enough to receive the treatment he needed. While Khloe has since tried to get Lamar the care he needs, a source reveals that her momager, Kris Jenner, wants her to abandon Odom all together:
“Her mom told her to stop enabling him, that Khloe can’t support his lifestyle and can’t keep hiding the fact that he needs help. Khloe gets it, but it doesn’t make any of this any easier. She loves him with all of her heart.”
