Taylor Swift missed John Mayer, or she narrowly missed running in to him and his new girlfriend Katy Perry this past week at Disneyland. It seems they both decided to vacation in the Magic Kingdom at the same time. Speaking of Mayer, the "22" singer recently opened up about her magnetic attraction to bad boys.
Taylor Swift and gal pal Modern Family star Sarah Hyland were at Disneyland this past week at the same time as Katy Perry and John Mayer. According to all reports, the bitter ex's didn't run into each other. Good thing, considering that the pair didn't end thier relationship on the most amicable terms.
Post breakup Swift penned and recorded a scathing song called "Dear John."
Mayer responded to the tune by telling Rolling Stone:
"It made me feel terrible because I didn't deserve it. ["Dear John"] is cheap songwriting. It's abusing your talent to rub your hands together and go, 'Wait til he gets a load of this!'"
Taylor called Mayer's comments "presumptuous" and insisted, "I never disclose who my songs are about," despite leaving clues to the song's subjects in her liner notes.
Mayer subsequently released a song called "Paper Doll" that many assume is about Swift.
Taylor Swift is getting too old to be dancing like she is "22." The almost 24-year-old recently spoke to InStyle Magazine about her choice of men and how she needs to change her ways:
“My friends tease me about the fact that if someone seems bad or shady or like they have a secret, I find them incredibly interesting...That’s just a phase I’ve been in lately. I don’t think this should be how I proceed in life. It’s important to be self-aware about these things because you don’t want to end up with that guy.”
