Former Disney star Shia LaBeouf has managed to completely transform his career. The one time child star, now 27-years-old, bared it all for Sigur Rós' "Fjögur Píanó" music video, and now he’s taking it one step further. In his new film Nymphomaniac, Shia and his co-stars are reportedly having real sex in the movie.
From Miley Cyrus to Robin Thicke, the lines between art and porn are blurry at best. Shia LaBeouf, who already starred full frontal in a music video, has a new film where he takes his art one more step over the line. In Nymphomaniac, directed by Lars von Trier, it's rumored that the actors will really be having sex with each other on screen. Shia, himself, recently implied this in an interview with MTV News:
"[Von Trier] is very dangerous. He's the most dangerous dude that I've ever showed up for. I'm terrified. I'm so terrified, which is why I have to go. We'll see what happens... [The movie] is what you think it is. It is Lars von Trier, making a movie about what he's making. For instance, there's a disclaimer at the top of the script that basically says we're doing it for real. Everything that is illegal, we'll shoot in blurred images. Other than that, everything is happening."
This isn't the first film to bring actual sex to the big screen, most notably Patrick Cassavetti did it in 2001s Intimacy. LaBeouf also talked about how different this film is from that:
"I've seen 'Intimacy.' [Von Trier is] talking about something different. ... It's going to be a wild movie."
No US release date is scheduled for Nymphomaniac.
