‘DWTS’ Season 17 Cast: Too Thin Snooki Talks Weight Loss and Diet After ‘Jersey Shore’ Career and Baby

DWTS’s Season 17 cast has not disappointed. One big surprise came from Snooki, who is noticeably thinner since her Jersey Shore days. The questionably too thin reality star recently opened up about her weight loss and the diet that is responsible for her new body.

Looking at Snooki, you wouldn’t think that she had a baby just a year ago. The celebrity has loss of the baby weight, plus a lot more. In a recent interview with Life and Style, she told the magazine that the first step was quitting partying:

“I hate drinking now. I’d rather be with my son.”

Of course, it wasn’t just cutting down on the booze that’s responsible for her slamming new body. She’s also started working out a lot. According to the publication, she has began strength training five days a week. Snooki told the publication:

“I used to hate going to the gym, but now I love it. I lift very heavy weights and I’m very strong. I think I am at a huge advantage physically...If I hadn’t been in shape, I probably wouldn’t have lasted a rehearsal with Sasha…”

She also went on to discuss how she’s altered her diet. Snooki has adopted the Express Home Fitness plan, which is centered around portion-controlled meal delivery. She explained her new dietary plan, telling the magazine:

“I ate lean steak, chicken, turkey and fish with salad and vegetables...and avoid eating sugar and fat at the same time...I do cheat with my Ben and Jerry’s ice cream about three times a week. I’m allowed to eat my guilty-pleasure foods but not overdo it.”
