Now that Scott Disick is sober for the first time in a longtime it looks like Lord Disick is truly ready to settle down with the mother of his kids, Kourtney Kardashian. According to the latest gossip news updates, the hard partying playboy even asked his Keeping Up with the Kardashians girlfriend to marry him now that he is out of rehab, but Kris Jenner's eldest isn't quite ready. Word has it that Kourtney wants to make sure that Scott is 100 percent committed to the straight and narrow before she agrees to any kind of wedding.
Although he isn't much willing to talk about it in public, since leaving inpatient treatment for his drug and alcohol abuse, it appears that Scott Disick is looking to get serious about settling down.
One source in the latest December 7, issue of InTouch claims that shortly after cleaning up his act, Scott asked Kourtney to be his wife:
"Out of nowhere, he corned Kourt and popped the question...[but] she told him she's just not ready to forgive him yet.
"Kourt has always stopped short of marrying him, even during their best days.
"He made a joke about wearing her down. It's only a matter of time before he asks her again."
For someone whose eventual marriage seems to depend on their staying sober for as long as possible, Scott Disick might have already made his first misstep.
Upon hearing the news that a newly sober Lord Disick planned to host a holiday party at Las Vegas' infamous 1Oak night club, addiction expert Steven Ornstein told Hollywood Life that Scott was more than likely making a huge mistake:
"Newly sober Scott absolutely should not be hosting a New Year's eve party in Las Vegas
"In fact, he should not be participating in anything alcohol related as he just got out of rehab for alcohol addiction."
What do you think of Scott Disick chances of staying sober?
