Willie Robertson, of Duck Dynasty fame, is going to make sure that his family doesn’t fall victim to the perils of fame. At least, that’s what he claims when it comes to his model daughter, Sadie Robertson.
If you’re a fan of the hit A&E show, then you are well aware of Willie’s 16-year-old daughter, Sadie. While she isn’t a primary focus of the show, she has made numerous appearances at family-centric events.
It appears that Sadie is looking to get even more famous. The reality star-turned-model recently strutted her stuff at NYC’s Fashion Week on September 9.
She wasn’t just modeling--she was advertising a brand that she helped create with Sherri Hill. According to attendees, the clothing made a big hit. One viewer, in particular, was pleased with her new line.
Willie and his wife were both sitting in the front row to cheer their daughter on. He spoke to Life and Style magazine at the event, telling them:
“I’m not a big fashion guy, but we’re proud of Sadie...Faith is the number-one thing in our lives, and so everything revolves around it: our marriages, our families, our business. If you stick with God’s plan, it makes a lot of things a lot easier.”
Designer Sherri Hill also went on record about Sadie, telling the publication how much she loves and admires the young model:
“I love the fact that Sadie is comfortable in her own skin. For a girl that’s just turned 16, she is perfectly fine with doing her own thing, marching to her own beat, and that’s because she has a strong family core. They encourage her to think for herself and to always remember that she may be a role model and to set a good example for other kids.”
