Rumors are once again flying that claim Katy Perry and John Mayer may be planning a wedding. The latest allegations come after the “Roar” singer was taken on a date to Paradise City--Disneyland. In this latest update, we’ll take a look at the rumors and see if we can separate fact from fiction.
Photos recently emerged of the couple holding hands at the world famous theme park. The couple looked relaxed and very much in love. Of course, this seems pretty consistent with what Mayer has been saying lately.
John appeared on Jimmy Kimmel recently and couldn’t say enough nice things about his girlfriend, including what it was like to work with her:
“She was fantastic. It was a really great experience and the song is one of these like old FM '70s and '80s sort of like duets. And I listened back to it, it's like, really convincing. And I watched it get made and I'm still kind of taken aback."
Of course, John’s affectionate statements aren’t the only reason people are talking marriage. According to a source who spoke to OK! magazine, their relationship is getting hot and heavy:
“Things are going full-steam ahead for John and Katy. As everyone knows, they’ve had their rough spots, but it’s all ironed out and things are just wonderful for them right now. They couldn’t be more in love.”
It’s good to see Katy in a happy place, especially considering how distraught she was from her last relationship with comedian Russell Brand. In an interview with Billboard, she told the music magazine that she considered suicide following the break up:
"That song is evident of how tough it really was at a certain point. I asked myself, 'Do I want to endure? Should I continue living?' All the songs are real-life moments. I can only write autobiographically. I put all the evidence in the music. I tell my fans if they want to know the real truth about stuff, just listen to the songs."
What do you think about the couple? Will they get married? Is Katy ready to tie the knot again?
