Outside of a bit of behind-the-scenes backbiting with Katy Perry, Taylor Swift has maintained a squeaky clean image through all her public breakups, but her boyfriend, Calvin Harris, doesn't seem to have the same luck with the media. According to the latest gossip news updates, the 31-year-old DJ recently stole a number from Justin Bieber's play book -- stopping a recent concert to berate a fan for not living up to his unusually high expectations. If Calvin doesn't learn to lock it up soon, this tour might end in a breakup. Meanwhile, the "Blank Space" beauty seems to understand that you can get too much of a good thing and plans to take a break from the spotlight no matter how thinks shake out between her and Harris.
Taylor Swift would never stop a show to curse out one of her fans, but apparently Calvin Harris may not be quite as classy.
One source in the latest December 7, issue of OK! Magazine claims that during a private event at LIV nightclub in Miami, Calvin laid into a female fan for having the audacity to suggest he play her favorite song next:
"He stopped the show and cursed her out on his mic.
"Security basically dragged her out crying."
It's hard to say what would possess Calvin Harris to act in such a way, but if he's burnt out from performing, perhaps he should take a break when Swift goes into semi-retirement following her 1989 World Tour.
In a recent interview with NME, Taylor explained that she could tell people might be getting tired of having to deal with her, so she planned to take a bit of a break from the music business in the not too distant future(via Inquisitr):
"I think I should take some time off. I think people might need a break from me. I'm going to... I don't know.
"Hang out with my friends. Write new music. Maybe not write new music. I don't know."
What do you think about Taylor Swift's boyfriend?
Is it about time she found herself a man that was as sweet as she was?
Or, should Swift stick it out with Calvin and hope he soon mellows out?
