While 19-year-old supermodel Kendall Jenner was happy to recently be made a part of Victoria's Secret televised fashion show, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians beauty still thinks the industry is ridiculous. According to the latest gossip news updates, Kendall thinks it's stupid that the world of modeling tries to set the standard for what the perfect woman looks like, when in reality there in no such thing as being perfect. It's said that Kendall's attitude has left her at odds with her fellow models, but it's probably safe to assume that her close friendships with everyone from Gigi Hadid to Cara Delevingne that those reports are equally ridiculous.
Kendall Jenner may barely be old enough to vote, but the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star is wise enough to know that modeling ultimately sells people a false product.
In a recent interview with News Corp the supermodel explained that she understood her industry set the standard for what was considered beautiful but pointed out how silly it was to ever pretend that someone had the perfect look (via People):
"It's so lame. Especially in this world, everyone looks at you with a magnifying glass.
"I think that that's just stupid because no one is perfect.
"No one will ever be perfect, so it's just stupid to put someone's face on a magazine cover saying, 'This is what you should look like.' It's kind of my job but it's not real life."
Despite at times seeming pretty down to earth, Kendall Jenner is characterized by one source in the latest November 30, issue of In Touch as being disliked by her fellow models for her bad attitude:
"Kendall is getting a really bad reputation in the modeling world...[she] is not a nice girl.
"The other girls think that Kendall became a model solely because of her family."
Of course, that makes little sense given Kendall's tendency to appear in public with several of his supermodel besties by her side, as the Daily Mail points out.
