There has been a new update in the divorce of Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones. Cat was recently photographed still wearing her wedding ring. This revelation follows their very public separation and a slew of tabloid rumors which claim that Douglas was guilty of cheating.
Things may be looking up for the celebrity couple who recently announced they were calling off their marriage of 13 years. Tabloids and gossip sites worldwide are reporting that they have reunited, with many claiming that the couple have moved back in together.
This comes as a surprise to many, especially considering the couple released a joint statement earlier in the summer. A representative for the duo stated, “Catherine and Michael are taking some time apart to evaluate and work on their marriage.”
While no reason was given for their split, that didn’t stop the interweb from speculating as to what caused the separation. Many claimed that Michael has been repeatedly unfaithful.
Star Magazine probably took things the farthest, claiming that Michael was dating a woman who looked like a younger Catherine.
“At first, everyone thought the woman was Catherine, especially with all the attention Michael was lavishing on her. But it wasn’t. Michael and Catherine are living totally separate lives and are powering full steam ahead with the divorce. She was gorgeous--tall, with long, dark hair pulled back in a braided ponytail and a million dollar smile. Michael seemed to be putting the moves on this woman hard-core. He must be chomping at the bit to play the field again.”
