New photos have emerged of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s love child, and he looks just like dear old dad. The pics show Joseph Baena, Arnold’s son with mistress Mildred Baena, walking alongside of his mother, after swim team practice. The revelation of his infidelity is ultimately what lead to his divorce from Maria Shriver.
Since Joseph and his father have established a relationship, it appears that his dad’s love for exercising and fitness have rubbed off on him. The 16-year-old was recently photographed outside of his high school and was sporting a noticeably slimmed down and toned body.
Many news outlets are claiming that it’s because of the connection he’s made with Arnold, who recently purchased the boy an in-home gym. According to TMZ:
"Once the truth came out, Arnold embraced Joseph. Since then, they've been slowly building a great relationship."
The Daily Mail offered up their own description of the boy:
“Joseph Baena was seen leaving his school swimming pool on Tuesday, showing off his bulging biceps and toned torso in a Batman vest as he walked with his mother Mildred, the day before his 16th birthday. And although he shares the Latino look of his mother, Joseph seems to have inherited the chiseled jawline of his action star father.”
Things haven’t been easy for Joseph since it was revealed that he was actually the lovechild of Arnold. Though his ex-wife, Maria Shriver, had suspicions of her husband’s infidelity, she waited until after he ended his political career to confront him. Arnold writes about the situation in his autobiography, Total Recall: My Unbelievably True Life Story. By this time, the couple was already in counseling, which is where Maria decided to pop the question.
“The minute we sat down, the therapist turned to me and said, ‘Maria wanted to come here today and to ask about a child --whether you fathered a child with your housekeeper Mildred.’ I told the therapist, ‘It’s true.’”
